COCKTAILS & CANDYCANES holds a special place in our hearts as it was born out of a deeply personal experience. When our youngest daughter, Ella, was born 11 weeks premature (as was our older daughter, Aria), our world was turned upside down. She spent a total of 71 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the London Health Science Centre. We were fortunate enough to have a home away from home, where we could stay close to our daughter while she fought her fight, ensuring she had her parents' love and support during her medical journey. During these trying times, the Ronald McDonald House provided us with a lifeline of support, compassion, and care, which is why we made the decision to make giving back an annual event to help ensure that other families facing challenging medical journeys like ours receive the same support and care that we did.

COCKTAILS & CANDYCANES has grown over the years, thanks to the incredible support from our community, friends, and family. The cost to house a family for one night at the house is $177. With event proceeds going directly to the cause, we’ve been able to donate $61,087 to the RMH, which has helped house families in need for 345 nights.
